E17 Art Trail 2014
Everyone missed the Art Trail while it took a break in 2013, so it was great to be back at St. Barnabas Church for the 2014 E17 Art Trail.

My "No-one to Bestow" installation for the 2012 trail was highly personal and emotional (click on the link on the right to see/read about this show), so I was looking forward to creating something a little more lighthearted and fun this time! When Father Steven suggested that all artists exhibiting at St. Barnabas use the theme of angels, I came up with the idea of some life-size angels suspended from the ceiling.

Unfortunately due to the height of the church ceiling when it came to installing the angels we realised that it wouldn't be possible to hang them from the ceiling as it was just too high. But we managed to find space to hang Angel Emma and Angel William Morris on some flag poles next to the entrance. And Angel Grayson Perry was given pride of place above the font. He even made a guest appearance in a christening held during the Art Trail!

The angels are now resting back at home with me, but are still for sale. Or if you would like me to create an "angel" version of you, please contact me: emma@littleangelsmurals.co.uk
